It's that time of year when even the most timid Minnesotans are emerging from their winter hibernation. The sun is shining, the temperatures are soaring to nearly 60 degrees; pale skin is exposed. Head down to your local home and garden store (even Wal-mart carries the necessary supplies) and pick up a seed starter kit and a variety of flowers and/or seeds. These kits are quite remarkable and the fruits of your labor will be evident rapidly (mine emerged after 2 days!).
